What this warranty is up against in Northwest Arkansas
Plenty of guard warranties only promise that the product itself will not fail. If the gutter under it fills with oak tassels and overflows, that is not their concern, and the crew that put it up may be hard to find two springs later.
BroGuard puts two separate promises in writing. BroGuard Premier provides a 20-YEAR PERFORMANCE WARRANTY, which guarantees that BroGuard Premier will keep the interior of your gutters from clogging if installed to our factory specifications, and we substantiate this with a money back guarantee. BroGuard will, at its sole discretion, either replace any failing area of the BroGuard Premier system with a new or reconditioned insert that returns the guard to its original operational standard; or refund you 100% of the BroGuard Premier product material cost. Labor and/or installer shipping costs not included.
BroGuard provides a LIFETIME MATERIAL DEFECTS WARRANTY for BroGuard Premier. All products will be free from factory material defects that occur during the manufacturing process. If a product is found to have a manufacturer defect, BroGuard will repair or replace the defective part(s) at no charge. We guarantee that the finished product will not chip, bubble or flake under normal conditions of wear. Our warranty is limited to the terms, exclusions, limitations, requirements and legal rights stated within this warranty.
In the event you sell your home, the balance of the warranty will transfer to the new owner. Change of Ownership forms can be obtained by contacting our corporate headquarters.
The above-mentioned warranties are void if any of the following apply:
- Damage caused to product from any outside force, natural or accidental
- Performance failures due to improper installation
- Damage during installation
- Natural wear caused by weather or other unique environmental conditions
- Damage caused by chemicals
- Improper use of product other than that intended by manufacturer
- Removal of product
- Contact with dissimilar materials
- Insert clogging due to unnatural occurrences, including but not limited to, tampering with or introducing a foreign element to the mesh, such as paint, caulk, adhesive, etc
Warranty questions from Northwest Arkansas homeowners
No. BroGuard excludes damage from any outside force, natural or accidental, so hail dents and storm-dropped limbs fall outside both the performance and the material warranty. That kind of loss is something to raise with your homeowners insurer, and after a storm our team photographs and documents the damage so your insurance file is ready. The warranties themselves cover manufacturing defects and the gutter staying unclogged.
It comes down to how the job is done. Installed with a new seamless gutter system from our Springdale team, gutters and guard are covered together by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Fitted to gutters already on your house, BroGuard Premier brings its own twenty year no-clog performance warranty plus lifetime coverage against material defects.
Keeping the inside of your gutters from clogging for twenty years, provided BroGuard Premier was installed to factory specifications. If any area fails, BroGuard decides between replacing it with a new or reconditioned insert and refunding all of the product material cost. Labor and installer shipping are not covered by that remedy.
The lifetime material defects warranty includes a guarantee that the finish will not chip, bubble or flake under normal conditions of wear. On an Ozark roofline that sees July heat, spring hail season and the occasional ice storm, that is a sensible thing to have in writing.
Hardwood litter is the kind of debris BroGuard Premier is warranted against. Its twenty year performance warranty guarantees that a guard installed to factory specification will keep the inside of the gutter from clogging, with a replacement insert or a full material refund if it does not.
