Gutters for Avoca, the hilltop town on U.S. 62

Avoca sits on the Springfield Plateau about six miles northeast of central Rogers, at roughly 1,360 feet. The town began in the valley below, then moved uphill in 1881 when Albert Peel platted a new site beside the Frisco railroad. In 1934 the paved road that became U.S. 62 went in just west of the tracks, and the Peel Addition grew up on the far side of the highway. Town Hall still sits on North Old Wire Road, named for the old stagecoach route. Census estimates put the median Avoca home at 1988, with about a third built in the 1970s, and nearly nine in ten are owner-occupied.

The Brothers That Just Do Gutters Northwest Arkansas is locally owned by Chalice Suratt, based on West Sunset Avenue in Springdale and licensed under Arkansas contractor license #0475791126. In Avoca we replace tired sectional gutters with seamless runs formed in the driveway, clean and flush clogged systems, handle storm damage repair after hail, rebuild soft fascia and install BroGuard micro-mesh where yard trees hang over the roof. You get a free, itemized written estimate before any work starts.

Plenty of Avoca houses are on their second set of gutters, or are missing runs on a side or two. On homes from the 1970s we often find undersized downspouts, joints that have opened up and fascia that has soaked up years of overflow. Manufactured homes, about one in seven here, need gutters sized to their shorter eaves. We show you what we found and put the fix in writing, and our installation cost guide explains what goes into the number.

Avoca Gutter Questions, Answered

Our Avoca house still has its original gutters. Repair or replace?

It depends on what we find. If the runs are straight and only the joints leak, resealing and re-pitching may be enough. If the gutters are undersized, rusted through or pulling away from soft fascia, replacing them with seamless runs is usually the better fix than patching every spring. We show you both options in writing so you can decide.

Can you put gutters on a manufactured home in Avoca?

Yes. Manufactured homes often have short eaves and thin trim, so we size the gutters and hangers to what the roof edge can carry and add downspouts where water splashes against skirting or steps. Plenty of homes in and around Avoca are manufactured, and they benefit from seamless gutters as much as any site-built house.

How often should gutters be cleaned in Avoca?

For most homes, twice a year: late fall once the oaks and hickories are bare, and again in early spring before storm season. If big trees hang over the roof, plan on a third visit or add BroGuard stainless micro-mesh to keep leaves out. Our maintenance program puts those cleanings on the calendar for you.

Water pools along our foundation after heavy rain. Can gutters fix that?

Usually. The common causes are a downspout that ends right at the wall, a clogged outlet or a run that tilts the wrong way and spills over one corner. We clean and flush the system, correct the pitch, and extend downspouts or tie them into an underground line that carries water out into the yard.

Do you serve Rogers, Garfield and Pea Ridge too?

Yes. From Avoca our crews cover Rogers, Garfield, Pea Ridge, Lost Bridge Village and the rest of Benton County, along with towns across Northwest Arkansas. Call (479) 370-5248 with your address, tell us what is going on with your gutters, and a Solutionist will book a free written estimate.
