Plan on two cleanings a year, late fall after the oaks and hickories drop and early spring before storm season. Wooded lots out toward Beaver Lake often need three. If the house is a weekend or seasonal place, our maintenance program or BroGuard guards keep the gutters working while nobody is around to notice an overflow.
Get the water well away from the house and down the hill in a controlled way. On sloped Beaver Lake lots we size gutters and downspouts for the roof, then connect the downspouts to underground drainage lines that discharge downhill, away from the foundation, footings and deck posts.
